Meaning

The right atrium is a chamber at the top right of the heart.

About the Right Atrium

The right atrium is separated from the right ventricle by the Tricuspid Valve.
The right atrium receives deoxygenated blood from the body through a vein called the Vena Cava and pumps it into the right ventricle.
