Meaning
The left ventricle is a chamber in the bottom left of the heart.
About the Ventricles
- The left ventricle is separated from the left atrium by the Bicuspid Valve.
- The left ventricle is separated from the Aorta by a Semilunar Valve.
- The left ventricle receives oxygentated blood from the left atrium and pumps the blood out of the heart through an artery called the Aorta which takes the blood to the rest of the body.
