In a reversible change you can get back the substance you started with.

A change that cannot be reversed is called irreversible.

• Freezing
• Evaporating
• Condensing
• Dissolving

Examples

Making shapes with playdough is a reversible process.

Once you squash playdough into a new shape you can squeeze it back into the original shape.
