Meaning
A flower is a bright colourful part of a plant that has petals.
About Flowers
There are many different flowers with different colours and different shapes. They have a centre surrounded by petals.

A flower is a plant organ in the reproductive system of a plant.
About Flowers
- Flowers are colourful to attract insects and birds. The insects and birds pollinate the flowers.
- When an insect goes into a flower it brushes past the stamen and gets pollen stuck on the insect. When the insect goes to the next flower some of that pollen rubs off onto the stigma. When this happens the flower is pollinated and can start to grow seeds.
