Meaning
Adrenaline is a hormone produced by the adrenal glands which affects the fight or flight response of vertebrates.
About Adrenaline
Adrenaline's effect on target organs:
- The heart is caused to beat faster.
- The bladder becomes irritating causing an organism to feel the need to urinate.
- The brain and nervous system increase the speed of electrical impulses giving shorter reaction times.
