A method is the set of instructions you follow to complete an experiment.

A method can be followed if you are trying to copy another person's experiment.

A method can be written if you have created your own experiment and want other people to be able to copy it.

Methods should be written in the form of "writing to instruct". They do not use any personal pronouns; I, you, he, she, we, or they.

Results	Conclusion
	Descriptive Conclusion Most trees have green leaves, but not all trees have green leaves because maple has red leaves.
	Descriptive Conclusion Most people have brown eyes. Grey eyes were the least common. There are the same number of people with blue eyes as hazel eyes.
	Explanatory Conclusion Iodine changes colour when it is in the presence of starch. When the iodine was added to pasta, potato and bread the iodine changed colour from orange/brown to blue/black because they all contain starch.
