A toxic substance is one that is so poisonous it could kill a human.
About Toxic Chemicals
- Some chemicals are toxic in very small quantities so even a small amount could kill an organism.
- Some toxins must be ingested to kill the organism. However, some can kill an organism if they are inhaled or if some of the chemical gets on their skin.

- Safety Goggles - To reduce the chance of any getting in the eyes.
- Eye Washing Kit - To quickly remove any which get in the eyes.
