Meaning
A flagellum is a tail like organelle found on bacteria and some protists used to help it move.
Function
- A flagellum allows a cell to move towards food and away from harsh environmental conditions.
About Flagella
- Cells can have more than one flagella.
- Flagella are found on some bacteria such as E.coli and on some protists such as euglena.
