Meaning
A Metal Oxide is a basic metal compound made of one or more Metal atoms and Oxygen atoms.
About Metal Oxides
- Metal Oxides have a pH greater than 7
- Some Metal Oxides are insoluble solids.
- Some Metal Oxides dissolve in water to make Metal Hydroxides which are alkalis.
