Meaning
Hardness is how difficult it is to change the shape of an object with a force.
About Hardness
- Objects which need a lot of force to change their shape are called hard.
- Object which need very little force to change their shape are called soft.
- Very hard objects are often Brittle which means they can break when you push them with a big force.
