About Free Delocalised
- Electrons are normally bound to a single atom. Delocalised electrons are able to move from one atom to the next.
- Materials with delocalised electrons can have an electrical current when a potential difference is applied.
- A metallic bond is held together by the delocalised electrons which are attracted to the positive metal ions.
