The adrenal glands are endocrine glands located just above each kidney.
About the Adrenal Glands
- The adrenal glands secrete a hormone called adrenaline.
- The target organs for adrenaline are heart, which beats faster in response to adrenaline and the brain, which has improved reaction times in response to adrenaline.
