Meaning
A scavenger is an animal which eats other animals that have died, but does not hunt or kill the animals themselves.
About Scavengers
- Many scavengers are top carnivores.
The vulture does not hunt or kill the skunk. It waits for the skunk to die and then flies in to eat the meat. |
