Meaning
Millisieverts (mSv) are a unit of radiation dose 1,000 times smaller than the SI Unit; the Sievert.
About Millisieverts
- Millisieverts are shortened to mSv with a lower case m, an upper case S and a lower case v.
- Milli means one thousandth so there are 1,000 millisieverts in a Sievert.
